Spring is in the air!

That's right, It's Beltaine- and that means a few opportunities to see us live on stage. This spring, we're doing a few acoustic shows while we search for a new drummer (Don't worry- Amber will still be joining us once in a while when she can take the time off from school!). Mike is also playing several solo shows while on the road with The Haunted Wood, and we've quietly (figuratively speaking) done a couple shows recently:

4/28: Beltaine with Temple of Witchcraft

Wow- It's been a while....

Sorry we haven't posted anything new in a bit, but we had some fantastic stuff going on over the winter, and only a little of it was music related.

First of all, we will be performing a VERY SPECIAL, ALL ACOUSTIC SET at the Magickal Marketplace & Psychic Faire on March 31!

Additionally, Mike will be returning to A Sacred Place for Turning The Wheel over Memorial Day Weekend.

We're booking more shows for summer, and there's more exciting news from the Featherscale crew, as well-

Justin's wife Dawn, The Kitchen Witch, is getting settled into a much improved space to sell her new cookbook from. Tim has been learning the banjo. Mike has written his first book, and has started making musical instruments- Who knows? Maybe a couple of them will start making their way into our set list...

Reviews are coming in...

Gypsy Heart is being well received- here's a great review by Portsmouth newspaper The Wire. We also got a brief mention on The Wild Hunt, and the list of podcasts playing us just keeps growing.

Be sure to tune into these folks, as they've been playing us pretty regularly:

Pagan FM
The Magick Jukebox
A Pagan Heart in Maine
Between the Earth and Stars

Ballad of Thomas Meagher:

Album Almost Done!

Wow! After a long weekend in the studio with the lovely Jenna Greene, we are pleased to announce that all of the recording is done. Now, it's off for mixing and mastering- We should have the final product ready for duplication in just a few weeks!

While you're waiting, you can hear Mike and Jenna talk about both ours and her new projects live on this week's episode of Pagan FM: www.paganfm.com.

Album Update

Guitar, vocals, bass, drums, and a few other things have been recorded and the tracks sent off to Robert for fiddle and mixing. Special guest Jenna Greene will be coming by in a couple weeks to record some backing vocals.

A few ideas for cover art are being sketched out, and we're still arguing over a title.

We expect the first single to be available soon, with the full album ready for our fall season.
